Hosting a Clipboard Health Recruiting Event

Clipboard Health has a constant need for people to fill high-impact open roles. We regularly meet with student organizations, professional groups and various kinds of collectives in the tech space to talk about who we are, what we do, and what people are looking for from us as an employer.

How it works

It’s easy to set up an event. First, contact us and let us know who you are in terms of your group’s focus, how many members might like to attend, and what organizations the group has ties to. Also let us know what you are hoping to get out of the talk in terms of topics that might be interesting to your groups’ members - we are flexible and want to make sure we cover the most relevant topics.

We will then work with you to coordinate a time and format that works best for your group. Usually meetings take anywhere from a half hour to a couple hours depending on what type of event you think will work best for your group.

We have been joining different virtual and in-person career fairs all across the country via the Handshake platform. Here are some universities where we had the opportunity to participate!

The Kinds of Groups We Speak with

We particularly like to talk to Product, Engineering, Finance and Business groups, but don’t hesitate to reach out even if your group falls outside of those categories. In the past, we’ve talked to healthtech groups, entreprenuer collectives, and a wide varriety of student organizations and groups.

We are growing rapidly and hiring constantly - Clipboard Health is excited to talk to any group comprised of talented people who can help us maintain that growth rate as we scale.

Who Do We Send?

Northwestern Career Advancement Career Fair
Northwestern Career Advancement Career Fair

We have a rotating roster of folks from various parts of the company who bring different relevant viewpoints to the talks. The teammembers we send are managers, directors, and company executives; the exact person we send varies depending on the needs of the group. No matter who we send, it’s always someone with relevant perspective on who we are, what we do, and what kind of people we want to add to the team.

What Do We Talk About?

Every Clipboard Health recruiting event includes, at minimum, the following topics:

  1. What do we do today?
  2. What do we want to do in the future?
  3. How do you fit into our future?

Beyond the general overview, we welcome requests for more specific information relevant to your group; we want to make sure people walk away with everything they need to know to make an informed decision about our team.

We also welcome questions before, during and after the meetings; some of our best conversations have come out of insightful user questions, and it’s an early way for us to start learning more about attendees, as well.

What About After the Event?

We provide our direct recruiting email for any questions that pop up after event, as well as guidance on what Specific roles might be best fits for individual candidates. We want to make the process as informative and stress free as we can.

Make sure your group members let us know they attended a talk; we are especially excited to talk to folks who are excited to apply after learning more about us, and give special attention to applications we get from them.
